ICTM PASEA 2021 Guidelines for 

Preparing and Uploading Presentations

The purpose of these guidelines is to help you create high quality viewing and listening experiences for our online symposium by making pre-recorded videos of your presentation. All presenters should prepare and upload their pre-recorded video to TNNUA by 15 July 2021. 

IMPORTANT: Deadline for uploading the video

In order for the videos to be processed by the technical team, please finalize and upload your video no later than 15 July 2021.

 

The following are requirements and instructions for pre-recorded videos:

 

How to record a video:

There are various software available to record a presentation. We suggest using Zoom and you can do this by following the steps below:

We suggest that the video can be recorded just as if you are presenting at a live conference so that you are speaking into a microphone while a web-camera records your image and Zoom records the PowerPoint slides.

 

Tips for recording:

  1. It is better to use microphone and web-camera equipment. Many headphones have built-in microphones which are superior in quality to microphone computers.

  2. Please record in a room that is quiet with less echo and noise.

  3. Check the lighting in your room to avoid too much backlight and blur.

  4. Speak slowly and enunciate clearly. If you play audio/video examples during the presentation, avoid talking over the audio.

  5. After recording, make sure you review your video. Things to look out for are voice clarity, loudness and that all sections are complete.

 

Requirements for the video:

  1. Format: MPEG-4(.mp4) file.

  2. Duration: 
    Individual paper and panel paper, 20 min.
    Lightning papers, 10 min.
    Film, 30-50 min.

  3. Minimum quality: 720p (1280 X 720)

  4. File Name: Please use the flowing naming convention:
    SessionNumber-PresentationOrder_LastName.mp4” (e.g. If Lin is the first presenter of Session1, the file name will be “Session1-1_Lin.mp4”)

 

How to upload video:

  1. Visit the following URL: https://driveuploader.com/upload/yqqjq8Tgvr/

  2. Click “Select files from computer” or drag and drop your video file to the frame

  3. Enter your name and E-mail address and click “Continue”

  4. Wait until the uploading process is completed, the screen will show, “Upload successful. Thank you!”

  5. You will receive an email notification once the video is downloaded and checked by the TNNUA.
